Established in 2005, Acorn Chiropody & Podiatry provides a comprehensive range of professional chiropody and podiatry treatments, available both in our modern clinic with local free parking and through home visits in the comfort of your own home (Woodingdean-Seaford).
Our team of six experienced podiatrists a bring a wealth of knowledge from working in both the NHS and private sector. We are fully insured, degree-qualified, HCPC registered, and proud members of the Royal College of Podiatry, ensuring you receive safe, professional, and high-quality care.

James Weatherley
James graduated from the University of Brighton in 2005 and went on to establish Acorn Podiatry. He has developed strong professional relationships with both patients and local healthcare providers. His expertise spans general foot care, diabetic assessment, foot pain diagnosis, and verruca treatment.

Mara Ragaiolo
Mara qualified in Podiatry from the University of Brighton in 2005 and joined the team in 2011. She has extensive experience across both private practice and the NHS, treating a wide range of foot conditions, including high-risk patients with ulceration.
Mara provides a comprehensive range of services, from medical pedicures to nail surgery and verruca needling. She also carries out home visits and attends nursing homes, delivering care to vulnerable and disabled patients. She has a particular interest in diabetic foot care.

Howard Allen
Howard has been part of the team since 2013 and has predominantly worked within the NHS since graduating from the University of Brighton in 2005. He has developed extensive expertise in all aspects of podiatry, including nail surgery, ulcer prevention and management, diabetic assessment, and general foot care.
Howard supports both in-clinic services and home visits, particularly for patients who are housebound or at higher risk.

Ellie Deak
Ellie graduated in Podiatry from the University of Brighton in 2017 and has since worked primarily within the NHS. In addition to her clinical role, she has held leadership responsibilities and contributed to the education and training of podiatry students.
Her experience includes diabetic care, wound management, nail surgery, and the treatment of vulnerable patients. Ellie works both in clinic and provides home visits.

Amanda Dalila
Amanda qualified in Podiatry from the University of Brighton in 2017 and has largely worked within the NHS. She is experienced in general podiatry care, including medical pedicures, as well as minor procedures such as nail surgery.
Amanda also provides care for vulnerable and high-risk patients, with a focus on wound care and prevention. She works both in clinic and through home visits.

Jake Stone
Jake graduated from the University of Brighton in 2023, completing his clinical training within the NHS. He continues to work within the NHS, gaining experience across a wide range of podiatric care, including general treatment, wound care, prevention, and the management of high-risk patients.
Jake supports both clinic-based care and home visits.
